"NARD"
(Japanese Ladies who live in Atlanta or around)

The name of this group
comes from "(valerianaceous) nard"
on Holy Bible. There is a story on Holy
Bible; although perfumery was really
expensive and preciosity in that time, a
lady showed her love
and commitment to Jesus Christ by pouring
it His legs without stint. We learn what
Bible says, and so as to do that such as
the lady. So, we named our group "Nard."
Most
member live in Atlanta or around area. We'll
support any person who has some trouble
or worry through communication (including
information exchange).

We have a plan what Pastor
Takeda talks about a Holy Bible. In some
case, we will have cooking class,
fancywork, do picnic/BBQ, etc. Schedule
10:30am -
12:00pm on every Friday
Child(ren) are always
welcomed.
Not required registration/member fee.

We have
a meeting on a 3rd Sunday afternoon monthly.
Our activity is...
-
BBQ party as host on Mother's Day,
- Summer festival (Japanese style) for kids (July or August),
- Samma (Brevoort?) BBQ Party (September or October),
-
Westminster Golf Cup (held 3 times in
2005),
- Thanksgiving Fishing (Panama City, FL),
- Keeping clean our church activity,
- Men's Bible Study (several times in a year),
-
Lecture meeting by specialized person(s)
on their genre,
etc.
Since we have various
generation (30's through 70's),
we could hear unexpected stories which
are based on their experience. The other
case, they would advise/support us,
especially young generation. These would
be helpful for us on business situation
as well as personal.

FUJIN-KAI (Adult
Women Group)

Our objective is
spiritual growth through Faith, volunteer
together. We have a meeting on 3rd Sunday
monthly; we learn what Bible says and we
should do. We sponsor the Child
Sponsorship of World Vision since 2001.
Through proceeds from a bazaar in our
church, we support Miss Selia (BOD: May
19th, 1994) who lives in Mozambique. We
heard blessed news what this activity
gave well, school and hospital to their
village, and then, gave Bibles to leaders
of the church.
We really thank what we are given this
opotunity because we could turn our
attention to the World, specifically.

SEINEN-KAI
(Young People Group)

Seininkai is a group of Teens & 20's people. It's students!
We always welcome you! If you have some concerns, anxieties, troubles with your friends, bunch of homeworks(?), etc..., don't worry. All you have to do is come to our church and attend our young people meeting. We can share our struggles. Of course our adult or senior members could help you in anytime.
