Our
church was planted in April of
1977. For the first 10 years, we
met in the afternoons, using the
facility of Westminster
Presbyterian Church in Atlanta.
In August of 1987, we were able
to purchase the present house,
and began our morning services in
November. 17 years later in
November of 2004, our new
sanctuary was completed, thanks
to the prayers and generous
giving of God's people. |

Westminster
Japanese Church is reformed in
its views, and stands firmly upon
the inerrant Word of God. We also
agree with the foundational
principles of our faith written
in the Westminster Confession of
Faith, from which we have taken
our church name. This church is
affiliated with Presbyterian
Church in America (PCA).
However, we welcome and worship
together with people of all
denominations. We especially want
to welcome those of you who are
not Christians. Many falsely
believe that church is only for
believers, but that is not the
case. It will be our joy to tell
you the Good News of the gospel
of Jesus! Please come and join us
soon.
Our desire is to provide a safe
haven for the Japanese community
here in Atlanta, an oasis for
your heart. If you have any
questions regarding Christianity,
or if you need a listening ear
regarding any concerns in your
life, please don't hesitate to
give us a call. If it would be
more comfortable for us to come
and visit your home, we would be
happy to do that as well.
May our
Lord bless you and give you His
peace.
Sincerely,
Rev. Tsuneyoshi Takeda, Pastor
PLEASE
NOTE: All church services and
activities are held in Japanese
only.
